GIKA Facilities:

GIKA operates 6 Classrooms in 2 buildings and each classroom meets international standard of 3.5㎡space per child.

Our facilities include:

Kid friendly washrooms dedicated to each classroom,
Gym (for physical education, ballet, taekwondo, Kindermusik, School Assembly, special classes),
Library–New (situated at GIKA 1-1st floor, books for early to advance learners & explorers),
Kitchen (equipped to cook for 90 students and 30 staff members),
Director’s room,
Administrative office,
Two teacher’s resources rooms,
Outdoor small playground-swings, slides and riding toys.
School Buses (2 mini buses and 2 big vans: To meet Korean school bus regulation standards)

GIKA Governance:

GIKA (Geoje International Kids Academy) is privately owned by Tina (Eunjoo) Ok and family who respect and adhere to Christian principles. GIKA welcomes international children aged 2.5~5 years old of any nationality, religion, or language. GIKA is a licensed language institute under Ministry of Education standards. GIKA is regulated by the Education Department Geoje Office in regards to fees, staff qualification, space, safety, transportation, etc. We pride ourselves in providing a quality early education to young international children in a safe and intimate environment. We aim to keep a “family-like” atmosphere in which every child is known on a personal level throughout the school.
